It’s been a while since i first posted pictures of the garden. It has been doing pretty well, considering the time I’ve been able to work on it.
I have had a big problem with all of the nut grass coming up in the garden, and have tried to weed constantly. That doesn’t work. I was finally able to find out that the best thing I can do, is to just let it grow. I also had a slight issue with some aphids on my tomatoes, but thanks to my mom’s fish oil spray, I was able to get rid of them easily.
Tomatoes
Baby Squash
Baby Cucumbers
I do have to admit, that I have killed some squash and cucumbers since these pictures were taken. I didn’t know that if you got the flowers of the plants too wet, it would result in rotted veggies. I have since then been watering only the ground around the plants and not the plants themselves.
Also, within the last few days, we have had cantaloupe spouts popping up. So far, I’ve picked three peppers, but I’m hoping that the tomatoes will start turning red soon.
